Ludwigsstadt was first mentioned in a document in 1269. The 750. This year’s anniversary was celebrated with a colorful series of events. The historical photos shown at the festive reception were very well received. These are now available on CD in the town hall of ludwigsstadt.
A wonderful opening concert, a festive reception with a varied supporting program and an atmospheric torchlight procession, a large 750th anniversary market with many activities in the city center, exciting exhibitions with pictures and striking milestones in the city’s history – the series of events put on by the project group consisting of representatives of local associations, other committed people and mayor timo ehrhardt at the helm in cooperation with the city of ludwigsstadt was something to behold. 150 pictures and an accompanying text
An impressive highlight of the event was the festive reception on the 4th of march. May formed in the hermann-sollner-hall. The visual documents came from various sources, such as the state archives of bamberg, the city archives of ludwigsburg, the slate museum of ludwigsburg, the photo archive of siegfried scheidig from lauenstein, and private sources. The very time-consuming and laborious compilation of texts and pictures was once again the responsibility of siegfried scheidig.
